Many organizations within the sector may not be able to afford the cost of a training course to upskill their own people and yet these same people will be called upon to run training sessions for new staff or volunteers.

This book is designed to give such organizations simple templates and tools which they could use with very little training experience.

It would also serve as a very useful refresher for those who have undergone trainer training.

The book includes: how people learn; setting training outcomes; creating a training environment; designing the training session; the resourceful trainer; managing conflict; and, evaluation and embedding learning.

The book is designed so that you can dip into individual chapters, if you know where you need help, or, you can treat it as a short course in designing and delivering training.
