Look around! 6: Teacher's book - 6 : Teacher's Book

"Look around!" is a course, written by educationalists, which covers the Zambian syllabus for primary environmental science.

The teacher's book is made up of self-contained units corresponding to the units in the syllabus, each of which begins with a list of the objectives for that unit taken from the syllabus.

Also included is a brief discussion of the concepts which are to be introduced in the unit and a suggested number of periods for teaching the unit. For each headed section of the Pupil's Book there is a corresponding section in the Teacher's Book which gives background information about the topic and concepts.

Also included is advice on how to teach the topic, and where appropriate, further activities and experiments for the pupils to do.
