This volume explores the basic scientific and clinical aspects of stem cell transplantation, with emphasis on the molecular basis of alloreactivity and graft-versus-host effects, the physiology of the haematopoietic stem cell and stroma, the biology of cytokines and the selected clinical indications for marrow transplant therapy.
