When an assassin for hire is contacted by an old enemy, who apparently has no knowledge that the two have a connection, he is asked to take a potential job for the man. Despite knowing that he'll be getting little to no information about the potential victim; the assassin is urged by his partner and friend to take the request; due to being paid a large price in advanced, the agreement to have the potential victim delivered to their base, and finally, the promise to find the information he needs to fully accept the request.

Eventually, the assassin agrees to take the potential job but is shocked by the potential victim that is brought to him; when he and his partner discover that the victim has important ties to the person that wanted her dead , the two decide to get help finding out why the client wanted the victim dead in the first place. Realizing that they won't be able to find the information they need on their own, the assassin and his partner decide to seek out assistance from an aquaintace of the assassin's partner. With the potential victim along with them, the trio set out to get the help they need; along the way, the trio meet two new friends and discover a surprising secret about the potential victim. From this discovered secret, a theory is formed and the group become determined to discover the truth. Deciding that there's no longer any point of her being his potential victim any longer, since he and his allies want to discover the truth about her, the assassin contacts his client and informs him that he will not be be completing the request.
