Gerhard Schaefer's life story has never been fully told.

Taken step by step from a boyhood in a Germany destroyed by war, to a life in Switzerland, Gerhard describes the house of his life, built to stand, one brick at a time. His story declares his faith in a God who speaks to the listening ear.

Gerhard's book is about climbing mountains, those ones which he never dared to dream of climbing, and through it all, loving God.
