Ralph Compton Snake's Fury

The Yates Gang, led by its charismatic leader, William Fox, operates by a code.

They'll harm no women or children, they'll give half the money they steal to the poor and unfortunate, and they'll kill any lawman, banker, or trainman who tries to stop them.

Fox knows their days are numbered, though. In an attempt to change his ways and save the lives of the people he cares for, Fox leads the gang to Crowsfall, Kansas.

He's going to be the town's sheriff, and his right-hand man, the young Ashford Sinclair, is going to be his deputy.

But the sinister Reverend Jessup intends to purge Crowsfall of all sin - including the newly arrived lawmen.
