Explorations in Finite Mathematics and Visual Calc

Built from the ground up by David Schneider (University of Maryland), Explorations in Finite Mathematics enhances the understanding of many of the topics covered in the text through the visualization of said topics.

Part one of this software covers finite mathematical topics involving linear equations, linear inequalities, and matrices.

Students will be able to perform routines such as Gaussian elimination, matrix operations and inversions, the simplex method, and Markov chains.

Part two contains routines for Venn diagrams, computation of combinations, permutations and factorials, statistical analysis of data, financial calculations, and much more.
