Emily and Mike recognize the role that suffering was playing in their life and decide to do something about it by surrendering to the present moment and developing conscious awareness. They developed a practice of Self-awareness or the observing self, honestly, taking on the journey to awaken. They accompany each other on the journey and help to hold one another accountable. The stories and vignettes of their journey are funny, sad, engaging, and revealing. The stories allow us to laugh at ourselves and each other. Humor often makes the journey more tolerable.
