Catalogue of Medieval Sites in Continental Croatia

A collection of the extant data on 822 medieval sites, ranging in date from the time of the invasion of the Huns to the beginning of the sixteenth century.

Whilst not intended to be exhaustive, the aim of the author is that it should serve as "a working basis for future research and analysis'.

The catalogue itself is divided into regions, and contains details of location, topography, site-type, dating, finds and references.

There are also maps, notes on the region's principal historical events, information on the computer-based analysis and a useful bibliography.
