In Search of the Classic : Reconsidering the Greco-Roman Tradition, Homer to Valery and Beyond

This text searches for and formulates the shape of the presence - as embodied in literary works from Western antiquity and the neoclassical and modern periods - of what the author describes as a "classical" understanding of literature, thereby challenging the critical paradigms of postmodernism.
