Giallo Essentials - Black Edition

Collection of three giallo features from the early 1970s.

In 'Smile Before Death' (1972) Nancy (Jenny Tamburi) suspects her stepfather Marco (Silvano Tranquilli) and his mistress Gianna (Rosalba Neri) are to blame for the death of her mother.

Unbeknownst to her, Gianna is hoping to persuade Marco to kill Nancy who, having turned 20, is now due to take control of her wealthy mother's estate. 'The Weapon, the Hour, the Motive' (1972) sees police commissioner Franco Boito (Renzo Montagnani) investigate the murder of a promiscuous priest and begin an affair with one of his former lovers, Orchidea (Bedy Moratti).

With two women suspected of the murder, a young boy may hold the key to solving the case.

Finally, in 'The Killer Reserved Nine Seats' (1974) Patrick Davenant (Chris Avram) invites a group of friends to a private theatre inside his villa where they are locked inside as a masked killer begins to murder them, one by one.
