The Topsy-Turvies sleep in the kitchen, get up at midnight and have breakfast in the bedroom.

They wear their coats indoors and their pyjamas when they go out.

They are most surprised when they visit Mrs Plum next door and find she doesn't, so they decide to make her house lovely for her by turning everything upside down - and when a burglar climbs through the window, they do their best to make him feel at home.
