RUBYRAJAN ...An odyssey taking place in a country of towering mountains, living goddesses, arranged marriages, ancient traditions and terrible natural disasters... an emotional journey through the eyes of Rubyrajan and her twin sister, Binsa. Taking different pathways, the twins strive to find their identities, pursue personal aspirations and rise above those seeking their subjugation in a country undergoing a rapid transition from a monarchy to a republic. Rubyrajan and Binsa unite as they establish a shelter for homeless children in Kathmandu and confront the evil Amal brothers' child trafficking syndicate selling thousands of kidnapped children each year to buyers in neighbouring countries.
