J.D. is the fourteen-year-old son of Frankenstein's monster, on a quest to find his family ... the donors of his dad's body parts. In New York City, J.D. discovers a cousin, Bertie, who is extremely rich and likes sitting on his bottom and doing nothing all day.

Now Bertie is in danger. Fran is desperate to get her hands on a cousin and has enlisted the help of the Werewolf and the Invisible Man!
