Ethno-medicine is a branch of plant sciences which reveals the utility of plants in terms of medicine which is well used by the local residential of the region.

There are several species in Gujarat which are used by the local population for their health and for curing various types of diseases.

Those species are identified taxonomic-ally and are documented in the current work.

The current study is an M.Sc. dissertation work which is being emphasized around the Girnar region located in Junagadh district of Gujarat state (India).

The present work is an compilation of the data utilized by local people residing in the region of villages around Girnar.
