In the top left hand corner is a plan of the ancient city of Salisbury as it used to be, whilst in the right hand corner is an illustration of the most famous monument of Britain - Stonehenge.

Running down the right hand side, beneath Stonehenge is a history of the site, which states that Stonehenge was the burial place of Aurelius Ambrosius, a King of the Britons.

Along the left side of the map are depicted the coats of arms of the Earls of Wiltshire and Salisbury, fourteen in total.

Forests, such as Savernake and Blackmore, are marked on the map, along with all the rivers, hills, settlements and other landmarks of the county. This would make the ideal gift for anyone with a connection to Wiltshire.
