With eight contiguous states, Turkish foreign policy is inevitably multi-faceted.

It is also open to potentially conflicting priorities, especially in a period when other states' geopolitical interests are changing.

One of the suggestions in this report is that by concentrating on the settlement of the Cyprus question and domestic, issues such as inflation, Turkey might enhance its European standing and attract more sustainee levels of investment.
