Every year, hundreds of felines (and their owners) mass to the Birmingham's NEC for the Supreme Cat Show - a competition organised by the world's oldest cat registry, the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (itself a member of the World Cat Congress), established in 1910.

It's a visual whirlwind of an event filled with ribbons, trophies, judges proud owners, well-groomed cats and plenty of props - aka the Crufts of the cat world.Among the cats fighting it out for the title of Supreme Cat this year were Rotaria Qweenofhearts, a champion Burmese blue tortie, Best white Persian Moonspun Luvly Jubbly, Sheerbliss Giftwrapped, an AC exotic grand premier and MC Chilli, an award-winning red tabby point shorthair.Photographer Jack Kenyon has documented the spectacle in this wonderfully kitsch photo story.

The book will have a short introduction to the show and its history, but will be mostly made up of his striking photography capturing the winners and catty losers of the Supreme Cat Show.
