Child of the Elements

In the Pleistocene era, an "early child" was born to a mother, named Bough. Absent a male protector, Bough offers her child to the Elements. The fleeing mother also raises an abandoned girl, who can make partnerships with wolves. Kinder and Huntress are the future, but dangers abound from lions to half humans.
