Guy Cooper and Gordon Taylor, garden designers extraordinaire, are the horticultural equivalent of the Two Fat Ladies and will present a peak-time series about garden design for the BBC starting in April 2001.

New to television, and also 'of a certain age', they have been driving in a beautiful 1960s Alvis sports car around the gardens of Britain - the traditional, the eccentric and the contemporary - and talking in their informed, entertaining, cantankerous and very funny way about the unusual and interesting elements of design they have found.
