When Jon agrees to skip school with Ryan, they steal a boat and go rowing on the local river.

But they hit some rocks and Ryan is badly hurt. Jon must go and get help. He's so worried about getting into trouble that he doesn't tell anyone, convincing himself that Ryan will be found.
