Seminars of the United Nations programme on space applications : selected papers from activities held in 2005

This is the 17th and final volume in this annual series of publications produced within the framework of the UN Programme on Space Applications.

It contains nine selected papers from workshops organised, by the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs in 2005, to further knowledge and experience of science technology in developing countries and promote the peaceful use of outer space in accordance with UN principles.

Topics discussed include: regional centres for space science and technology education, the International Heliophysical Year 2007, and the use of telemedicine applications on board airline flights.
