The Lindisfarne Gospels is one of Britain's greatest artistic treasures and the outstanding example of Anglo-Saxon book painting.

Twenty-five of the most highly decorated pages from the Lindisfarne Gospels are featured on this CD-ROM, plus the jewelled binding, and all have zoom facilities and accompanying text.

The user clicks and drags the mouse to turn the pages of the manuscript in real time.
