I loved those parts." In his eighth interview book, Tom Weaver has found 22 other equally agreeable stars and filmmakers who, like Hughes, loved the science fiction and horror (and some other) film roles that made it easy to be bad.

They have been a part of such films as The Blob, Tarzan the Ape Man, Star Trek, It Came from Outer Space, The Wild Wild West, Somewhere in Time, The Fly (1957), and Forbidden Plant.

Among those interviewed are Kate Phillips, John Alvin, Alex Gordon, Tod Griffin, Denny Miller, Andrey Dalton, Warren Stevens, Suzanne Kaaren, and David Hedison.
