Beyond Resurrection

Wedderburn scrutinizes perhaps one of the most central tenets of the Christian faith -- the resurrection of Jesus -- and he does so through the cold hard lens of historical criticism.

Recognizing that such a rigorous examination can be an "uncomfortable undertaking which constantly threatens to undermine cherished and established beliefs" (from the foreword) and risks controversy and sharp criticism, Wedderburn, nonetheless, strives to apply strenuously the methods of historical criticism to the question of Jesus' resurrection.
