It is inevitable that Laura Randall should fee some regret at the prospect of her family fragmenting, her children finally flying the nest. The two boys are already gone, to work and college respectively; Bart is even talking about moving in with his girlfriend. And Annie, lovely vivacious Annie. There is something so special about a daughter. Laura has been lucky with her mother and hopes to recreated that particular bond.
