This is a retelling, in comic-strip form of the seven voyages of Sinbad the sailor.

The stories tell of how Sinbad saves the mare of the King Mahraza from a sea-horse; he escapes from the valley of deadly snakes; he nearly comes to grief at the hands of a man-eating giant and serpent; he is buried alive on the island of vegetarians; he overcomes The Old Man of the Sea and finds wealth in the City of Apes; he is given great gifts by the King of Serandip; he encounters a sea-monster and takes a wife. Marcia Williams has also written and illustrated retellings of: "The Amazing Story of Noah's Ark"; "Jonah and the Whale"; "Joseph and his Magnificent Coat of Many Colours"; "Greek Myths"; and "Don Quixote", as well as her own texts "When I Was Little" and "Not a Worry in the World".
