The Journey of an Acorn

This sweet little book has received four independent publishing awards, making its way onto the Eric Hoffer Grand Prize Short List, and earning a 2020 Eric Hoffer Book Award Honorable Mention for the children's category.

It is also a First Horizon Award Finalist and a Next Generation Indie Book Awards Finalist for the young adult category. "Deep in the forest there stood an oak tree. And on one of its branches there hung a little acorn." So begins the acorn's journey through life.

Along the way, it faces trauma and experiences love and loss.

Ultimately, it learns to let go of the pain it experienced, accepting the world for what it is, and forgive.
