Global Development Finance - v. 1 : Analysis and Summary Tables (2000 ed.)

This 2000 edition of the World Bank's review of developing countries' external debt and financial flows includes a special chapter that takes a historical look at private capital flows since 1900, and suggests from this review what the lessons are for the future.

Volume one contains analysis and commentary on recent developments in international finance for developing countries, together with summary statistical tables for selected regional and analytical groups comprising 150 developing countries.

Volume two contains statistical tables on the external debt of the 136 countries that report public and publicly guaranteed debt under the Debtor Reporting System.

Volume two is shorter and re-designed, with enhanced content such as topic-related tables.

With consolidated statistics for all developing countries this publication should be useful for those involved in the foreign direct investment decision making process throughout the world.
