Topics covered include: setting aims and objectives; choosing and designing research methods; ethical issues; taking part in analysis and report writing; and learner needs, support and evaluation.

The pack contains identified competencies, and a section on theorectical issues, which describes some of the influences behind current training practice. "Young People as Researchers" is a collection of useful exercises rather than a unitary research training course.
