Recent advances in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics techniques have revolutionised the understanding of genetic response of plants to various biotic and abiotic stresses.

Strategic application of this revolutionary technology will eventually lead towards attaining sustainability in agriculture.
