This report sets out guidelines for the assessment of compensation for loss of pension rights by Industrial Tribunals following a finding of unfair dismissal. Tribunals have an obligation to order a "just and equitable" sum in compensation, these guidelines provide them with a consistent system for assessment within the constraints under which they operate.
