Jesus Women

In "Jesus Women", Irene Sayer, the Methodist Church's Network President 2003-2004, has written about the women who came into contact with Jesus during his ministry, including Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Peter's mother-in-law and the mother of James and John.

She looks at the ways in which the lives of these women were changed by their encounters with Jesus, and at how women today can identify with their experience.

The author has included insights from her own life and from the lives of women she has met both in the UK and overseas, to illustrate that a living relationship with Jesus is as important to women in the 21st century as it was when he met them in 1st-century Palestine.
