Linking Texts

The Living Literature series has been written to meet new developments in the teaching of AS/A level English Literature and AS/A level English Language and Literature.

Linking Texts focuses on exploring and commenting on the relationships and comparisons that exist between a variety of literary texts.

Chapters cover various perspectives which may be the basis for comparison including: genre and literary tradition, thematic differences, the cultural milieu of texts, and linguistic and stylistic comparisons.

Activities throughout are set in relation to both examination practice and coursework requirements.
