Tudor Times - School Site Licence

Channel 4's "Seeing History" CD-ROMs feature the best TV clips from Channel 4's archive of history programmes for primary schools.

Robert Knox, a yeoman, leads the pupils into Tudor England and Wales, where they can explore the Tudor Times through videos, information screens and short quizzes.

The topics covered are: Tudor Times; The Spanish Armada; Castles and defences; Houses; Daily life; At work; Learning; and Health.

With each completed topic, the pupils can become the cabin boy on Sir Francis Drake's Golden Hind, using their newly acquired knowledge to help them gather gold, silver and precious gems looted from Spanish galleons and scattered around the ship.
