Statistical yearbook for Latin America and the Caribbean 2006 (2006 ed)

This annual publication contains a range of economic and social data for the countries of the Latin America & Caribbean region.

This edition maintains the modifications in content and design that were introduced in 2005, in order to incorporate technological and statistical developments.

This issue is organised into four chapters covering: demographic and social indicators; basic economic, trade and balance-of-payments statistics as well as national accounts; the environment and natural resources; and issues relating to methodology and metadata.

An electronic version of the yearbook is presented on the accompanying CD-ROM with additional tables giving more detailed information on the economic and social situation in each country.
