In Nigerian villages, people are bonded together by their ogbo or age-grade, which unites girls and goys of the same age.

Each ogbo contributes in its own unique way to the well-being of the village.In this book, a little girl explains the different age-grades and all they entail: their chores, their decision-making; and their fun.

The author presents photographs to explore this aspect of traditional African village life.
