Chemicals Control in the European Community

This volume aims to inform readers of the actions of the Commission of the European Communities.

It includes a detailed account of existing and planned EC legislation in the area of chemical control, explaining what is currently taking place at community level, as well as outlining future plans and directions.

The text intends specifically to assist non-governmental organizations to assess and mobilize public opinion, opinion which will in turn help to shape future legislation on the control of dangerous and toxic chemicals.
