Very similar in content and style to the British HMSO 'The Rise and Fall of the German Air Force' It is much better written than the British book, but has less detail. The conclusions are the same however, Germany lost the air war over Europe. and the war itself because of its failure to increase productive capacity and an inability to from a tactical to a strategic focus in the use of air power. In effect Germany lost WWII before its started because of its failure to understand air power as a strategic rather than tactical weapon.
