In 1966, the Palestinian poet Barghouti, then 22, left home to return to university in Cairo.

Then came the 6 Day War and Barghouti, like many Palestinians living abroad, was denied entry back into Palestine.

Thirty years later he was finally allowed back. This is his account of homecoming.
