And He Knew

Stephanie knew that she was superior to the rest of society in her beautiful Blackrock, County Dublin home. Even when her world collapsed around her and she took off to Phoenix Az with her husband and step-daughter, she knew. She always knew at the back of her mind, the consequences of her behaviour, even when she was arrested or when she was kidnapped, she knew it was coming and how she would survive but she didn't realise how much Mervyn knew.
Mervyn, Stephanie's husband tried to make her understand that she has to stop spending, and stop her self-indulgence. He recognised her faults and that she would ultimately be the reason for their downfall. But Stephanie wouldn't listen, so, all he could do was stay close and pick up the pieces on her trail of destruction.
