Essays in Kentish History

First published in 1976. This is a collection of twenty-three essays on the history of the English county of Kent in the south-east.

They cover many aspects of local history and they include works on farms in Medieval Kent, Farming at Otford, Four Kent towns at of the Middle Ages, the distribution of wealth in the early fourteenth century, Tonbridge in the seventeenth century amongst others.
