Meteorological glossary (6th ed)

In the 20 years since the last edition of the "Meteorological Glossary" was published, many new terms and definitions have been introduced as a result of research and developments in meteorology, climatology, hydrology and from increasing research into the greenhouse effect and global warming.

The new edition of this handbook defines most of the terms a meteorologist might come across.

Where required, it gives the physical or mathematical theory behind the terms, and it also includes most of the official definitions used by the World Meteorological Organization.
