Children's Visual Dictionary

This is a thematic dictionary designed to help beginner readers and to enable young children to learn new words and phrases, name the parts of objects, and explore language through a collection of picture definitions.Each double page offers access to vocabulary on a theme, from music or mammals, to sea creatures and space.

Over 2500 nouns, verbs and adjectives have been chosen to develop a young child's vocabulary, and an index enables the child to check spellings and meanings.
