PT Activities for Pediatric Groups

This resource aims to assist with children who have physical disabilities.

It presents a variety of hands-on activities appropriate for small groups of children, aged three to five years, with similar abilities.

The structure of the activites, along with grouping similar children together, encourages children to take the initiative, which assists in the development of gross motor skills.

The manual includes objectived, opening and closing activities, and a main activity for a 32 week school year.

It addresses the needs of the more physically challenged members of the group with special instructions for including them in the activity.

Reproducible activity cards with large type contain a description of the main activity so that other adults can help the therapist conduct the group.
