Shine on Real Lives - Video Book : American

This video activity book accompanies the video, "Shine on Real Lives", for teenage students of American English. Guided by presenters Lisa (from London), and Nathan (from the USA), the video looks at the real lives of six British and American teenagers within the context of modern Britain, allowing students to make cross-cultural comparisons with life in their own country.

The book is divided into six units, each focusing on a different aspect of everyday life: homes and families, school, festivals, food, going out and hobbies. Key features include: grammar and vocabulary designed to fit in with "American Shine" levels 1-3; key language modelled through a variety of contexts; motivating and relevant topics to stimulate cross-cultural awareness; photocopiable activities and teacher's notes.
