A World within a Space

This is a presentation of various installations created in situ for the Kunsthalle in Zurich.

What kind of "worlds" are they? We tend to associate the concept of a "world" with a spatial dimension that goes far beyond the bounds of any interior.

This text seeks to do precisely that by showing how art - in this case six room-sized installations - transcends the boundaries of real space to put us in touch with the world.

These works that address issues of cultural and geopolitical modernism and postmodernism, exploring such themes as reification and alienation, cultural specificity and transnationality.
