Part of a series of digital course support products, this CDRom is designed to enhance the lecturer's presentations and the student's course experience.

The pack includes a Master Disc for the faculty, and 5 Student Discs (to avoid networking difficulties).

The centrepiece of the set is a complete set of images from the book of the same name - all the photographs, histos, EMs and artworks.

The search facility of the CD enables users to navigate through the large collection of images with ease.

There is also and authoring facility, helping the user to produce a subset of images for the purpose of their own presentation.

This tool allows notes, comments or questions to be added to the pictures.

A full set of questions serve as a quiz bank for students to add to as required.

The CD also allows any illustration to be incorporated in an electronic presentation package, such as Powerpoint, and any illustration can be formatted into a slide.
