Practicals for Psychology : A Student Workbook

This text provides a set of materials to allow students to select and devise their own practicals with the minimum of supervision.

It should be suitable as a companion for coursework and practical work for students new to psychology, and should also be of interest to teachers and lecturers as resource material.

Each practical can be replicated without specialist equipment.

The book includes: 20 key studies with descriptions of aims, design, results and conclusion; studies covering a range of different topics and methodologies; a "Do-It-Yourself" section for each key study to suggest how the student might design their own practical; a section on how to write up the practical, including an actual student's report with comments by an examiner; and questionnaires and word lists.
