Marigny St. Claude was named after the street and neighborhood in New Orleans where she was found as a baby. After running from an abusive ex in Colorado she returns home to the city of her mysterious birth. A powerful witch in her own right, she does her best to settle back into her old home and forget the nightmares of her past. When a mysterious magic rose appears in her living room the first night she is home, Mari is unwittingly pulled into a plot where members from each species of Other has gone missing.
